very nice rig though. Once those quad SLi drivers are out, that rig will be awesome.

First of all I gott say I am really annoyed and dissappointed at the Forum in general for the amount of sarcastic and mean spirited remarks.

The Guy builds his dream rig, makes a nice video and all you punks can say is "How much did it cost?" "18K is low for that isn't it?" "What a waste of money" blah blah blah.

Makes me sick honestly.

Yes 18K is about right for a Skulltrail set up at 3.2ghz. Yes it costs a buttload of money GET OVER IT.

What kills is me is all these rude posts from people that WASTED THEIR MONEY on quads (that do NOTHING for gaming or real world apps) so they could be with the "In Crowd" of uber 1337 Quad owners...pat yourselves on the back: you just bought something that you don't need. wasted money and soon it will all be worth 1/2 what you paid...it's the way it works.

Man...saddening stuff.

its true..... regardless of his 3dmark score or its cost (which we did not pay for) its a rig dreams are made of ...the negative feedback may put him off posting about future dream rigs or upgrades (cos he obviously has the readies to do so) i for one would rather see it built than only see all these new components coming out which i will never have.....IMO

I haven't noticed any negativity in this post, unlike Maxishines TRI SLI thread which got silly. The only thing that makes me sick is the completely noob approach of everyone taking 3DMark scores as a guide to performance.

Id really like to see you Cinebench this thing. Also flight simulator 10 has mutli theaded goodness, I'd like to see that.

Monster rig mate, but 3D Mark is not the best benchmark to shoot by ofcourse. Show us some Cinebench, Flight Sim 10 and folding times (will this fold faster than a PS3?) Can't wait to see this on fully supporting drivers for Quad SLi also.

Best of luck dude. If i REALLY wanted to make the ultimate rig (money no option) Id make the same as that at this current point in time. Don't see any weak points in that system, apart from the lack of DDR3 2000Mhz RAM.

I dont think that the Zalman WC was a bad choice. They have some pretty good stuff. as long as his temps are down.

Only thing i'm puzzled with is that in the same Video he is upgrading another rig consisting of TRI SLI Ultras and a QX6850 to a 790i Ultra and DDR3.

I mean seriously, how much money do you have at your disposal? Seems reckless to me. I mean you have a TRI SLI Ultra rig, all you needed to do was get a QX9650 or QX9770 and 790i Ultra with DDR3 and forget the Skulltrail idea.

But nice system none the less, just don't quite understand the logic in it.
