*I searched first, so I hope I am not overlooking someone else's prior "quick guide"*
RivaTuner v2.08 Creating a fan profile: ![]() 1) Scroll down to Detect settings, click the triangle tab next to "Forceware detected". ![]() 2) Select the picture depicting a tiny GFX card(system settings). ![]() 3) Select the "Fan" tab. 4) Set driver level fan control to "direct control". 5) You'll now notice that the "performance 3D" option can be manipulated. Now dial up the desired fan speed. 6) Click the little diskette symbol to save the profile. *Note* I name mine fan60 for 60%, I find it easier that way). 7) That's it you've made fan profile. Creating a Launcher: ![]() 1) Open RivaTuner and select launcher tab. 2) Click green + select regular item and press ok. ![]() 3) Select the name of your launcher item. (I usually give it the same name as the fan profile). 4) Select associate fan profile box and select previously created profile then press ok. Creating a sceduled item: 1) select scheduler tab 2) click green + 3) Select "launch item on specified schedule" 4) Select corresponding name 5) Select when you want the task to execute, Ex "Run task at Windows startup" click ok... 6) And bam, your done! *Note creating an Overclocking profile works almost the same, but instead of selecting the fan tab in step 3 of creating a fan profile you select overclocking.*
