Well to start on my old setup eVGA 680i with my 2 eVGA 8800GT's SSC SLI with my Q6600 @ 3975GHz (max OC) I scored a 19250 in 3DMARK06. I just threw in my new mobo on my tech station HERE. And started to load windows Vista and I was able to get right into a straight OC without any problems. I have not tried to push it further.. Asus has a new BIOS release I will flash it tomorrow to make sure I will be even more stable... But going back from my old setup to this new setup and only scoring in 3DMARK06 a 20409 I must say I am a little bummed so far with my results of these new 9800GTX cards...Compared to my old setup.. I thought for sure I would get a 21K wit the CPU @ 4050GHz (NOT YET MAX OUT) and 9800GTX SLI cards stock.. I will run a 8800GT bench in a bit to see how much off they are...

your only 400 points ahead of me and i dont even have a quad. that score is depressing, they seem to not scale as good as the GTS does. your single card beats mine by about 1.4K but im right at your heals with dual cards. i would look into that issue

3DMARK06 19,996 So the drivers must NOT be up to sink yet on the 9800GTX??? So far not impressed with these cards... But more testing.... After I flash my BIOS and get little more stable with the memory then we will see...

Well they do run each card through rigorous tests before it gets to become a SSC and not all pass it.

I got 16016 in 3Dmark06 with my Q6600 at 3.6 and the 9800GTX at SSC speeds. I've got my hands on a SSC bios so i'm in the process of flashing. I'm pretty impressed with the card so far; who knows where it'll take me. With my 8800GT overclocked to 660/1750/1000 I got only 14655. I'll let you know how my bios flashing goes. following USFORCES^^ and a bunch of other guides on the net, including TechPowerUp, and mvktech's NiBitor guide. I'm liking these cards thus far, I mean, look at USforces single card 8800GTX score and SLI score, these cards are neck and neck, and cheaper, (maybe not by much, but I think they are -- they go for 500 where I live, and obviously cheaper depending on the e-tailer). Peace
