How does evga stack up agaisnt the others? I was looking at newegg and I found one for 160 dollars with a mail in rebate. I am really looking forward to trashing this old card that I have and getting a new one to at least move somewhat into the new gaming era since I can't really afford a new set up or any of the higher end models. Going pci-e wont be in the cards for a while so this would be a nice change to this old bfg 5500. I would like to get this card since most of what I read points to the 6600 GT doing all right for newer games.

EVGA makes really good card, but look for a XFX i beleive its around that price range, and to my knowledge the XFX will OC slightly better.

I got the eVGA and I love it. The stock cooler is awesome.

Sorry I forgot to mention that the rebate was like 15 dollars so it comes to 144 after rebate. I don't know how long these rebates usually take, but hopefully not long
