Default How to put a 8800GTs in a dell lol...

Back when I was first trolling this place, I read a thread about some dellers wanting to put the massive card inside their dells, Some with a model similar to mine said you cant do it it wont fit ect…

Not sure if the problem has already been solved or whatever but here how I made mine fit yeah its not pro but it works.

nice. You got it to fit, but it looks like it will hella over heat!!!

You have to give us some temps of everything....

Are you refering to the guy who payed $400 for a 7800GT and couldnt get it in his dell because he only had a PCI slot.. So he cut the card and posted that he was wondering why it wouldnt work when he killed it?>

Ps you may want to get a new power suply.. It wont live very long. I promise!

ANd its not worth it with your cpu or ram....

Cant Tell you temp of cpu or anything Dell=no way to monitor

But Gpu, is 60c at idle, and tops out at 68c under heavy load.

kepe in mind my pc has ZERO colling mods

Why would this turn into a flame thread

I dont know a whole heck of allot about computers ive been doing tons of asking here to try and have been getting some great feedback from my questions.

So why do you say i will need a new power supply?
