I just received my two 9800GTX's last week

Now i'm getting ready to return one of them and sell the other two a friend in a month so that I can get two of these puppies.

I really hope they don't get delayed and the prices aren't preposterous.

I'm not understanding the point of all these really powerful cards. What the hell do you use them on I say? I'd rather have cheaper more efficient cards this generation because most of the common cards (G92 core) can play nearly all the games out at the moment at decent frame rates at the most popular resolutions (1680x1050).

Also, this nvidia Physx junk sounds horrible. Sounds like a lot to code for when really games aren't taking advantage of the technology at this point anyway. No doubt they will fix this by throwing money at developers.

I wish I could take the nvidia icon off under my avatar. Just because I have one doesn't mean I support them in any way or fashion.

You think the GTX280 will outperform a 9800GTX SLI?

at the way these specs look, maybe not.
but we won't know until we start seeing some benchmarks

i have a feeling the new core is going to do alot better than anticipated.

Wait for benchmarks!

Hopefully Tweaktown will receive an early model, like all those other times.
