I was moving my pc to my new house today and decided to go caseless until I got my tech bench from Syrillian, and when I was putting on the waterblock for my GT..... yep, screwdriver slipped and knocked off a resistor. So now I've got a dead card and no rig until I can afford a new card. So it looks like I'm gonna be using my oh-so-awesome lappy until then. At least I can stare at the Syrillian case and cry until I can get a new card

I would try to solder it back on if it's not under warranty or anything.
Also remember a lot of the time when you aren't under warranty, they will still perform the service for a fee (cheaper then getting a new card).

No soldering tools and I've farrr voided my warranty with NCIX, and they are very strict with warranties.

The mobo I have in my sig had a capacitor popped off of it, and I thought it was a gonner. I did some digging around and found someone willing to ship me a cap off of their fried board similar to this one. I soldered it on, and I'm good to go now. Too bad I offed my opty165 though. that makes me sad to this day.

Same thing happened with my 6600GT, thought it was dead forever, busted out the solder gun, soldered the resistor back on, still works good. $15 > $200 for new graphics card. :P

You should be able to RMA it with Galaxy.
