Ok Im getting this nv4_disp.dll on the blue screen of death or some thing close to that not at home to read it. Anyways I talked to BFG about it and they say its an error that could be from anyhing. Any ways anyone got any ideas it does this blue screen every time I run 3dmark06 and like grid the game. It also seems to run the need for speed games and WoW fine but bench marks and high end games crash tryed turning all overclocks down and still happends. Also tryed new video driver tought about cleaning all drivers off the computer and loading all agian is this a good idea.

It means your overclock is too high and your card shut it self down.

Well what nv stands for is nvidia and the disp part means display driver.
So whats happening is your nvidia display driver isnt working. It could be heat, too high of an overclock. Defective card....bad drivers....driver conflict....uhh. So check your temps, lower your overclock to stock. and re install your drivers and let us know.

Ok I'm getting really pissed now. I got new corsair ram yesterday 8500 and everything was running fine last night. Turned all overclocks to normal cleaned of drivers in safe mode reloaded them and played for a bit know problem. So today I go back in and bang nv4_disp.dll error like crazy again I'm really starting to think its the 9600gt. Anyone else got any ideas what could do this really thinking about a reformat again. I just hate losing al my saved games again

The error could be a number of things, but yes, one of which is the card itself. If that is the last thing you can try, RMA it
