i had a Prescott 3.2GHZ and a 8800uultra.

Now when i fist got this card, my games ran like crap,
the frame rates were slower than normal,
people kept saying you have a bottle neck with that CPU,
but being me, i didnt think this was true,
well that was until i got a E4300 did my FPS get faster >yes. a lot faster..on 3d mark 06 it was 5256 the when got the dual core..12000+
so at the end of the day it was my CPU.

now when you installed your 2nd card did you uninstall your display drivers first then install, boot and install drivers?

SLI works great for me and 175.16 driver.

I reinstalled Vista after i got the cards installed for another reason so it had no old drivers in it!

Dude you should be getting at least 5-6k with SLI... something isn't right still...unless the CPU bottleneck is THAT bad
