Default Failing Atitools when memory / shader clocked

Got my 8800gs clocked to 660 core, which seems to be its limit, but having trouble clocking the memory / shader even a small amount.
Using RivaTuner to clock and Atitools to test, doing exactly the same as I did with the core, small increments, testing for a few minutes each time, but as soon as I up the memory or shader even a small amount AtiTools fails its artifact test after a matter of seconds...

Is this just a limit of the card or am I doing something wrong? :s

Try lowering core clock a little then bring up shader or memory. Gotta find a balance between the three.

Had another go but still got the same problem, reduced the core and put the shader clock up by a very small amount yet still failed after less then a minute on AtiTools :s
