True, I got false reading a few times, but mine always stated not enabled, never enabled. Do this run Aquamark03 and see what your scores are.

I know for most of the older AMD boards, mine for example is only x8 if I went SLI opposed to the x16 a single PCI-E card offers. I wouldn't be surprised if your mobo was the same because it's a 500 series nvidia chipset.

No its the 590 chipset i bought this becasue it supports PCIx16 at x16 speed even eith SLI enabled! The M2N-SLI is only got 570 chipset making it run at x8 when SLI enabled!
