I get that on BF2, I figure it's down to not down to graphics, as it will settle down after 30 seconds or so. I doubt it's CPU, as I'm at 3.33GHz, and Task Manager shows I've got plenty of RAM free. I think it's due to some crappy application (anti-virus or something) stealing all the system resources while doing an update or file scan.
