Cool GTX 280 Arrived! *BENCHMARKS*
Hey all, recently sold my 8800GTX locally for 360$, and I just purchased an XFX GTX 280. Also, I will be ordering a 4GB ramkit (same brand and type as what is already in), making 6.14GB of ram. Going to slap on Vista Ultimate and post benchies!

Benchies I have in mind: CSS, Crysis, 3Dmark06 and Vantage. Any other suggestions welcome

GTX 280 should be here on tuesday, ram will be here when I get back from Greece (leaving Aug. 7th) .

UPDATE 1:

1 - Overclocked GPU till it's max stable OC, which is 720Core / 1440 Shaders / 1300 Memory

2 - Did a 3DMark06 Run in Windows XP w/ SP3. Drivers used: 177.41

- Score Obtained: 18676 3DMarks Compare Link



3 - Ran a CounterStrike Source GPU Test. Commands used: FPS_MAX 0

- Scores Obtained:

Test 1: 395.89FPS [using 8XMSAA] SCREENSHOT
Test 2: 370.62FPS [using 16QXCSAA] SCREENSHOT


4 - Did a few Crysis DEMO benchies. (Added a few more )

bench in vista because thats what most people with new equipment use.

don't you feel bad selling your gtx for that much?

My gtx 280 just arrived today.
And my 8800gtx is sitting on my desk, but i was wondering how you got someone to buy it for 360? I was thinking i could only hope to get 250 out of it.
