Hi, i'm Barry Scott!

Make sure you've done a full clean, i use "Driver cleaner Pro".
I know someone else on another forum who just installed above their old drivers and lost 4000 points on 3Dmark06. They fixed it by doing a full clean and driver reinstall.

Well.. After fresh drivers... And noticing something very odd.. But CPU clock, was pushed back down to 2.4Ghz..
__________________So bumping back to 3.2Ghz. running Crysis Benchi tool I get 36FPS average. Very high , no AA, 1600x1200.. What if I get a GTX 280. What would I get? Can some1 post a screenshot that owns a GTX 280 with the Crysis Benchie tool, at Very high, NO AA, 1600x1200? Thanks

kilrbe3, what are your 3dmark 06 scores looking like?
__________________Also, is this a problem only in crysis or do you find lower than expected performance all around? I ran into an interesting/odd issue with similar results (chopped my frames by about 30-60% of what they should be depending on the prog) Oddly enough, lowering my NB voltage from 1.55 to 1.4 fixed it, and getting an 800 Watt PSU (vs cheesy 550 one) fixed it alltogether. Perhaps your PSU isn't supplying enough power to ur GX2 and its scaling down performance as a result under load. Try resetting all voltages to stock and running crysis. Its a longshot but it might work...

my 9800gtx gets about 73 gb/s on nvidia's website it even says you should be getting over 128 with a 9800gx2 double what you're getting. have you completely blown away all of your drivers and installed the latest one for YOUR video card?

do you have the modded .inf file??!!
because the 177.xx drivers i think were made for ONLY the gtx200 series, but i could be wrong. i'm going to look for the modded .inf download in the folding forum. maybe you can try that... edit: sorry for double posting. EDIT2: here is the link to the drivers with modded .inf files. they don't have one for 177.45 but you can try these (up to 177.41) this link was from nitteo's GPU2 folding client set-up, in the folding section. hope this helps
