Question Best System For GTX 280?

Just got a new BFG Tech GTX280 OC, and installed in my primary system (Xeon system listed below in my signature) -however, I'm not overly impressed with my 3DMark Vantage scores;

GPU = 9932
CPU = 6436

Would I be better off using the GTX280 in my older system;

Conroe E6700
2GB DDR2 1100
XP Pro
