Default 9600gt tweaking

Just slapped my 9600gt in and without any overclock on the card or any tweaking with the newest drivers got 11,542 3dmarks 06.

anxious to see how high that number goes with overclocking.

Which MSI 9600GT do you have??? I have the N9600GT-T2D512-OC, stock is 700mhz, and got 9800 something marks... I have it OC'd to 760mgz and I am only getting 10,180marks...

Can you post a screenshot of GPuZ... I wanna know if there is something working with mine...

i have an e7200 runnin at 3.82, so that would be mine and your major difference louis. My clocks are the same as yours, i just ran 3d mark again and only got 11480 and then a third time and only got 11492, so i will take my lowest score and stick with that. I am still pleased. 700/950/1680 is my clocks on the card stock in gpu-z. I have to go to work so i will do some more benching as well as overclocking tonight. I will see you all at 1045pm cst

a couple hours of playing around and checking temps before i overclock. never reached more than 46 degrees. I was Running 3dmark 06, playing grid, devil may cry 4, nfsmw black edition, wow, and sims2. So i should have plenty of room temp wise for good clocks.

im having a problem OCing my 9600. I can set the speeds in ravatuner fine, but when I go to atitool to scan for artifacts, I get an instant black screen and my monitor goes to sleep
suggestions? I do get the untested driver error in rivatuner but atitool says everything is fine.
