Question New Gpu!!!

well im finaly looking to upgrade from my current video card to a nice GTX 260 or GTX 280 . Im leaning towards the EVGA GTX 280 and was wondering if its actually worth buying the Stock version for more money over the Superclocked version which is cheaper just for the step up? Iv read that the SC version cannot Step up is that right?

If you're spending that much money, get the 4870x2 in 10 days (once the price drops). It's the best card out there.

You might need a new motherboard, as that thing needs PCI 2.0 to function properly.

Agreed, if your going to spend money on a factory overclocked GTX 280, you might as well get the HD4870X2. It's much faster.

The SC can be used to step up but the step up card can only be a reference card. No SC, SSC, etc.
