I have the Gx2(for a couple weeks now) and as much as I want to recommend it, I can't. Sure, it's a beast of a card but microstuttering will drive you nuts. I can play Crysis at 40fps but with microstuttering it feels like 20fps. I would wait until the GTX260+ comes out and then overclock it to 280 speeds. My Gx2 idles at 50*C at 100% fan and 70*C under load with 100% fan.

9800GX2 is the better card by a long ways as a single card(if you plan to only have one card)

you missed out on the deal at TigerDirect/CompUSA. They had 9800GX's for $228 and $218 after MIR. 9800GX2 gets my vote though.

I think Nvidia has a big expo or something next week. Kind of like E3 for video games :P

I can't remember the name right now though...
