Dangi knew i should have gotten a 780i motherboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im researching to see if the 9800GX2 works with my motherboard. LETS HOPE

EDIT: Affirmative. the 9800GX2 is compadible on a P45 motherboard. Sli is done in the card not the motherboard. Any PCI-E 2.0 slot will run the beast of a card so my motherboard is fine. SO IM ALL GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9800GX2 is sli on a stick, using two of them won't work.

with one you should be fine.

yep. Itll recognise it as one card but with 2 GPU's right? cuz thats what a 9800GX2 is is a single PCD with 2 GPU's.

I second the 9800gx2 from the evga bstock, it compares to a gtx 280 in games that are nvidia sli optimized

The big thing that steers me away from the 9800GX2 is the microstuttering issues. Does the new drivers get rid of it? From what I hear it does not......

I have played a bunch of games on tri and quad sli rigs of my friends and have never seen micro-stuttering, I don't even know what it is
