Are you guys honestly crapinng me? My xp2800 and 9550 with 768mb of ram can play the game fine on low and medium and get good fps his 7800gtx and gig of ram will play the game fine, very possibly at all highest settings

I never really thought about it, so I buggered about with the settings and put them to medium, and the game crashed out saying to a windows message saying I had run out of virtual memory

So... bring on the 1 gig of cosair ram in the post

if you type in console -

renderer.drawFps 1

it'll show you the FPS and the milli seconds between frames (or something).

Can anyone tell me which is which? On medium it was stuttering like mad, reading-

70- occasional dip to 40/ 15

The higher settings take up a lot more memory. Trust me. But with 1 gig he will do alright.

dont trust that ****. My 6600gt oc always reads 90 fps. Doest matter if its 600*800 all lowest or 1024*768 half medium. alwas around 90.

Try FRAPS to get your FPS. Works fine in BF2.

PS: My system get's about 50 FPS with all grapics settings on Medium, 16x AF, 2x AA, and textures on medium at 1024x768.
