Default Yet Another BF2 Related Question

Would my rig be able to handle BF2 at max everything even tho I only have 1 gig of DDR2 RAM?

Nope sorry Battlefield 2 requires atleast 1.5GB for max.

And your video card is bottlenecked by your cpu.

What is your cpu running at? BF2 likes about 1300mb of ram but if you cpu is around 3.6ghz then it'll run it maxed out due to your 7800gtx. If your cpu is at stock 3.0 then no, the videocard will be bottlenecked and you wont be able to run it at max.

I just wana point out BF2 looks damn nice even on 800x600 with everything on low. The higher detail doesn't make a huge difference.

I'v seen it use as much as 1.3GB on medium-high for me, plus congrads on the number of posts

That takes you through all the settings, and shows you with screenshots/descriptions what difference they all make. Personaly I dont see that much difference, but i've been playing games on a 32mb video card in a laptop till a month ago, so I suppose anything looks good to me

That is seriously the worst example I have ever seen, try playing the first map on low then switch to medium, it's like a whole new game.
