Default compare nvidia cards? (9600gt/gso, 8800gtsg92)

so, i want to compare the 9600GT and 9600 GSO, and 8800GTSG92
i will probably be buying one of these cards in the near future
and, i dont want a "this card is best" i want to see how much better/worse these cards are in games, such as crysis, hl2EP2, CoD4, etc etc
thank you for your time
(p.s., i like to play games at 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 *if possible, not a big deal)

the best card will be the 8800gts due to the 128sp/256bits bus compared to the 9600gso 96/196bit bus and the 9600gt 64sp/128bit or 256 not sure

OK I'll put it this way if you wanted to compare a 9600GT to a 8800gts g92 you would need almost two of the 9600gt's to get the same in game performance, especially when overclocked.

oh shi-
your comparison helps alot lol
really though? a 9600GSO would get approx half the FPS of a 8800GTSG92 in say... crysis?
or hl2ep2?
or cod4?

From what I've seen, that is pretty accurate. Another plus is that 8800gts's have a fairly high max oc.

It does depend on the game but, the 8800gts is much better all around.

OK I looked up some more charts and it seems that the 8800gts is 40%+ better in most tests at stock, can't find much about the 9600gso/8800gs.

alright, i suppose ima have to try and get ahold of like 105$
for a bstocked gtsg92, i will OC the hell out of that card.
i should be able to get it soon
gonna have like 80 bucks spare in like a weeks tiem or less
then the next paycheck i get (should be the 8th) i should have enough money after bills/groceries to pick one up

Have fun noticing a dramatic improvement over your current card.
