Not that I am aware of Nafljhy.. My old 8800GTS (G80) never did this so I think it's nVidia's newer cores that are trying to conserve more watts while idle..

I've not heard nor had any other nVidia products that do this and I've had nVidia from my old 4200 card to today

Yea Skunk you need to reboot for the registry changes to take effect.

I've run it and it prompts you Enable or Disable the ForcePerf mode. Once it does it's thing it will tell you need to reboot and asks if you wish to do so.

You don't have to at that point, I think, but if you don't mind a reboot right after might make sure it takes 100%

How do you adjust auto fan setting in Riva tuner?....I have to do it manually because if Riva tuner is set on auto the fan is way to low and the card is way to hot for my liking so my fan is on 100% cycle duty.....manually right now

Been trying to do this myself. I have mine pegged @ 100% as well.

It's not bad tho on sound and I really don't mind as well it doesn't reduce the life of your cooling either; technically.

Rivatuner USED to have the ability to build "thresholds" into the sensors off the RivaTuner Server package but I tried with the new 2.21 as well the prior 2.20 and they must have removed it.

I have yet to find a guide on how to do it but and I continue searching.
