Question Graphics Benchmarking

Does anybody know of any programs that do basically the same thing the Counter-Strike: Source graphics stress test does or AquaMark3 does, where it tells you your average frame rate? I need it to compare my overclocking tests.

You could try 3DMark, it gives you a score which it gets from the average fps etc you got in a few different tests. I also recommend you clean boot

How to clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353
See if you can find the Far Cry 2 Benchmark Tool, I know it was released as a standalone but I can't seem to find it

Thanks, it pretty much shut off all the unnecessary stuff I had running. It made a lot of unneeded processes go away too, thanks for the advice.

3d marks are good, but you must know some things before testing. You've got 8600GTS and A64 3800+, right? So your CPU may be a little bottleneck to your card in this tests. I suggest testing in 3d mark 2003, which always likes good GPU clocks 3d mark 2005 and 2006 will be also good. But for 88xx cards and newer only 3d mark 2003, because other need a lot CPU power. Forgot about 2k1 and Aquamark 3, which almost only depends on CPU

I use AquaMark3 a lot just to calculate how much frame increasment I'm getting when ever I overclock.
