Default Is it okay to install 181.22 drivers over 181.20?

I just noticed NVIDIA drivers 181.22 are now available, as of Jan 22.
I'm running a GTX295, and I know now how crucial good drivers are to performance. So, is it okay to just run the setup with my current drivers installed - or is it necessary to run driver cleaner and install them fresh?

Default

Uninstalling the device and driver and then running Driver Cleaner Pro is recommended. Most say to run Driver Cleaner Pro in safe mode as well as in the OS, but I always just run it in the OS.

Uninstall Driver/Video Device
Reboot
Run Driver Cleaner Pro
Reboot
Install new driver
Reboot

That is what I do.
