I love my 285... upgraded from 8800GT's SLI, gameplay is much smoother, more FPS, more AA/AF........

I was thinking about going to 9800GTX+ SLI, but opted for the premium priced single card solution... the 1204 RAM helps too, the 8800/9800's are stil only using 512...

It would be a decent upgrade, but if your thinking it will be huge, it wont......

My main reasons was one of my 8800's took a crap, so i had to do something....

I'd keep the SLI you have, and buy myself a new monitor or something else completely. I know I'd get more enjoyment out of something like that than even upgrading my old 8800GT SLI anytime soon.

the only real upgrade for you is gtx295. you could cover close to half the cost selling your current cards. Nothing less is worth it.

Those cards should get $110 each at least, probably $125 each if you sell on your local craigslist.

GTX 285 is the superior choice of the two, especially for 1920x1200 res. Single 1Gb vRam gpu >>> 2 inferior 512 vRam gpus by a longshot.

just drop your AA and wait for the GTX295's price to drop.

Either go with 1 GTX 285 (you may look as well at GTX 280 since there might a bargain) or get GTX 295.
