Hello, I was just playing Crysis and my computer crashed with a blue screen. I had my video cards core clock at 650, so if it was unstable would that cause a blue screen?

What did the BSOD message say? Some info on that could be helpful.
And yes, a bad GPU overclock could cause crashes and BSODS. Try and see if it happens again, if it does, note what the BSOD says. Then try defult clocks and see if it happens then. It could be that your GPU OC causes the GPU RAM to fail causing a BSOD.

Ideally, the stop error code. Usually in the form of 0x0000XXXXX. That can help us pinpoint the root of the BSOD.

Where do I check what the bsod said? Is it in the event viewer? I couldn't find it.

If you have it activated it should be a log file here: C:\Windows\minidump
But note down what the BSOD message is next time you get it. It could be a bad OC on your GPU, could be something else, or just a random crash.

Yeah, cuz I had blue screens from cpu overclocks if my fsb is higher than 1520+, but I can't remember if this has happened because of a gpu overclock before? The other games are fine. Maybe Crysis is to deadly for that high of an overclock.

If not, you can see everything on the BSOD itself.
This is an example of a BSOD caused by bad RAM: ![]() Give us what those two areas say.

Hmm... I check the minidump, and there were no files from today. Also they were dmp files and I don't know how to open them.
