**Official NVIDIA Geforce GTX285 Thread**

Well its not official or nuthin, but a few of us have been benching, gaming overclocking and pushing these for a couple months now.

If you want any info on them pretty much every owner of a 285 at ocn has been by once or twice...

24/7 stable clocks


the shader is kinda touchy on these, i recommend OC'n the core and memory to the limits before doing the shader...

I'd like to inform everyone that I will soon be posting overclocked results so please keep checking in. BTW, can anyone suggest what software to use to test for video card stability. ATI tool isn't powerful enough anymore and one time Furmark was stable for me but when I started playing Crysis I started artifacting. Thanks in advance.

You can use OCCT to see if its stable or not:

ow do you like that OCX edition, that is the one I got, just waiting to get it, which is going to be a few weeks. You like it so far? Those 3dmark results, did you overclock the card more than the stock overclock?
My 4840x2 does 1000 points more with 3dmark Vantage test, so it looks like i downgraded, from that card to the 285, but I like the idea of the single GPU.

I am lovin the OCX it's already overclocked for my convenience
And all the test were done at the OCX stock clocks
As for a downgrade, do you play Crysis all at Very High no AA and sit 30+ fps
Or do you mix and match medium and High settings?
Because i do play on all settings at Very High, and it is very playable
Although the Hovercraft chase in the snow, well lets say if it was like that all the way i'd have dropped the settings

Well i cancled my DELL order

But i reordered it from newegg..lol i just couldnt wait.I wasnt reallly worried about the $70 extra.Id rather spend a little more and have it right away.I will have my BFG GTX 285 OC+ mondayI just wish they would ship it.I ordered some memory the same day and its been shipped
