I am able to play Crysis with all very high settings and I think 4 aa and be around 25-30, and it drops to 19 here and there, but it is not as good as I hoped for. That is why I got the 285, since it shows better Crysis/Warhead/Wars results, which is a game I play a lot, and the single GPu is a good thing, if I SLI'ed them it would be good, rather than tri-firing or quad-firing this 4850x2 now which would be a pain.

mothow
I have been thinking all day about canceling my order too, like *** 3.5 weeks to get the damn thing, no wonder it was on sale. I am thinking of doing so and going with something else but I am going to wait a few more days, the way it looks is that my card will not be shipped by the time the 4890's come out so I might get one of those depending on the performance.

It was a no brainer for me, as it was to replace a single 8800GT
But you my friend, might not be saying wow as much as i did

I went from this 8800GT PPU Disabled

Nice Vantage overclock, my 4850x2 gets 1000 more points buts that is 2 GPUs, they seem to match up with this single GPU, I can not wait until I get my 285 ocx, and then add another 285 ocx, man that will kill any game thrown at it.
Any overclock on that card Anth? If so what is it running?

Keep in mind everyone that the of CPU you use affects the 3DMark06 and 3DMark Vantage score a lot. A Core2Quad will get a higher score than 90% of Core2Duo's, especially with OC; and a Core i7 will get a much higher score than any Core2 CPU.
