You included the Gefore 8300 and that is an IGP.

Sorry if I sound awful. Just a heads up.

I think there should be the 8800 (G80 series) instead of the 8800GT on that chart. That was the big leap over G70's. The 8800GT is a G92 and is not 3 years old. The G92 debuted in December 07 if I remember correctly. The G80 was/is a legendary chip and showed Nvidia's dominance for quite some time.

Other than that, I think it's pretty great

Edit: Just noticed, title is spelled "Nvidia grahpics" and should be "graphics"

100% ....the G80 was what every budding gamer dreamed of having back in the day (of my age anyway), but at over £300 it was simply out of reach......

yup same thoughts here.. I bunny hopped right over the g80 and got a 8800gt g92 for 209$ when i bought the first one, the second one was 179$.

I remember looking at the 8800 g80's at first and wishing and wanting, but my gaming needs were still pretty limited so I just waited. When the price came down enough the g92 came out and I couldnt resist...

but the g80 was a huge jump in tech that I hope we see again with another leap....

the G92 was the most EPIC refresh of any component IMO, it brought world leading graphics into the living rooms of the common man.....

never again will we see such a great change in the way we view our rigs....

until the introduction of photonic processing that is...

Either, as long as it is a G80. It was an epic chip. Long live the G80.

im confused about the 8800/9800GT being 3 year old... and they can still max games since they are part of the high end cards til the gtx showed up last mid 2008. but great post overall.
