well you're processor is a 130 - 135 Watt chip so that's pushing it a bit but I've done it with that power supply with the card clocked @ 725/1593/2450 though the PSU can get hot under load. I believe that combo calls for 575 watts but rarely will you be running 100%. The Corsair TX750 would be perfect for you. Clocking your card can be done with NVIDIA NTune or RivaTuner and it's very simple. I think your PSU will handle it just fine for now though and instead of the 750 if you want to upgrade the HX620 would be great.

What is your source for those benchmarks? Most benches I've seen have it beating the 4870 512 and 1GB in almost every game at almost every resolution. Most put it neck in neck with the 280.

Hardware Canuks has a good review...

I would definitely get it. All the reviews I've seen on it are good. And with the price below $200. You can't beat it! I just ordered one from newegg a couple days ago. I'm biting my nails waiting for it!!!

those benches did look off, spitphires are more accurate i think.

As far as price performance, id go with the 260, and plus if you wana get more down the line, i hear 3 gtx260s rock...

just my 2 cents tho

Yeah. Everywhere I looked the gtx260 (216) is a great overclocker. Anything but the ram probably can be clocked higher than my gtx280.

Here is a thread on overclocking these babies btw: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...=115320&page=3

I used this a basis for starting my overclock. Its mostly about the 260's though, which only is an advantage to you.

The 260's are the bang for the buck cards right now.

Does the MIR you speak of apply to Newegg? The Egg has a $5 off coupon code as well.

I'm not sure check out tiger direct they have it for $179 I believe and it's $181 shipped or shipping might of been free because I remember it said it qualified for special shipiing. If you click on rebate center they have it there it's $20 MIR not sure if it applies to newegg though

MIR's suck! It takes for ever to get them back, IF you ever even receive them. I would definitely go through newegg though... Most of the time, if you just bought an item and the price goes down shortly afterwards they will hook you up if you call them and talk to a customer support rep. God i love newegg!!!
