I imagine it would maybe be around 70*C max with 100% fan speed if I ran Furmark, but I don't have time to do that, too busy folding.
I never pay much attention to the review temps, they are usualy on an open bench with stock fan speeds, I have the same Palit card and it runs cooler than my old 260, folding with my shaders at 1674 and the highest I've seen it hit is 64c with 75% fan speed.

1674 shaders is impressive, I've benchmarked mine in 3Dmark vantage at 1620 just fine, but I haven't tried folding with it on that setting as when I tested it in ATI Tool it showed some yellow artifacts....not sure if ATI Tool is too accurate for this card though.

mine has the same stock clocks...and its a regular edition, but anyway.

I ment what kind of overclocks did you get with it...or are you just leaving it at stock clocks?

I just left it stock for now. I'll play around with it this weekend when I have time.

I took a chance and did RMA the card to where I bought it. They will ship me another one (an EVGA SC this time). If I am lucky the other one will no squeal as much. Another plus is the EVGA warranty is more friendly to aftermarket cooling mod (water in my case) than BFG .

thanks for the info!

Does the 275 use less energy than the 260/216?

No, it uses the same as the GTX-285 basically. It also has the same power requirements as the GTX-285 as well. Both the GTX-260 & GTX-275 use more power at idle too than the 285.

I just got my EVGA GTX 275 that was also at the "introduction price" so 289CND free shipping for me. Opened it up and same thing mine is at the OC values 648/1458/2376 even though I did not buy the SC version so bonus! Been testing the card out with the new drivers and lemme just say...I will be posting some pictures up cause I am floored with how much faster this new driver set plus graphics card is.

Oh and mine came with the DVI-HDMI adapter which was not listed
