Erm, check your clock speeds?
I'm pretty sure that's right, I'm getting the same performance out of my 9800GT except I'm on 1680x1050. Try updating/reinstalling drivers?

Oh wait you're on 8800GS. Check if Vertical Sync is turned on.

Try to OC and see what happens. I think you should get atleast 650/900 with shader linked. My 8800 GT OC2 was factory clocked at 675/975

Is not going to bottleneck the GPU by any noticeable amount.

It did for me, I had a 5400+ and a 8800GS and it was severally bottle necked, I got huge improvements switching to a C2D.
__________________For instance, My 5400+ could only get 151.56 FPS in the CSS benchmark no matter what card I used, I tried 7900GT, 7900GTSLI, 8800GS, 8800GS SLI, 4850, GTX 280, All the same results. The AMD X2's bottleneck most cards, especially when your playing Multiplayer games.
