Default Difference in SLI - 6600GT/6800GT

Im thinking of buying a new graphics card to put my chaintech 6600GT in SLi.
Should I buy another Chaintech 6600GT, or sell the one i have now and buy two 6800LE's?

Will it make that much difference in SLi?

I heard the Leadtek was the best for the 6800LE (tweaking overclocking, cooling ect.), and that you can pracically turn the 6800LE into a 6800.

Will the tweaks on the 6800LE's make them incompatible in SLi?

I should have bought a 6800LE in the first place

If you can unlock both of the 6800's then those would be much better and more worth it, otherwise stick with the 6600GT I guess.

The way im thinking is that the 6800le's will be better even if i cant unlock them(which is unlikely, as they are meant to be REALLY easy to unlock). Cheers for the help+, im looking to but 2 6800LE's now, if theres any for sale.(UK)

I found this thread that can give you some good info on choosing between the 6600GT and the 6800LE.

http://www.overclock.net/showthread....=6800LE+unlock

Yes, the 6800LE can be unlocked and I think it is better than the 6600GT since those don't have 256 memory, but nether does the 6800 and the 6800 is DDR1.
