We are not boycotting EVGA from you, you have free reign to choose whatever product you would like to buy.

This is to show how many people have and will boycott EVGA products.

EVGA won't ever see a nickel from me. The way they have been treating people lately is ridiculous.

I've never had a problem personally with EVGA but people don't just say bad things about EVGA for nothing.

I used to hear all good things about their warranty and RMA process; now I'm not so sure.

If boycotting EVGA means sending them a message that they're going downhill, then so be it...

I can say this:

I only bought evgas gtx280 because it was the best card out at that moment in time.

I stopped using ocn.net lately because I haven't really done anything to my pc, or for that matter even touched the overclock...and lost reason to post....

As I was going on this downward spiral of posts per day, I did notice more and more evga rma threads.....Now it seems like its everywhere..

Some of the things people have gone through is enough to make me avoid the situation entirely....Sorry to whoever disagrees, but if they mistreat one guy, whats gonna stop them from doing it to you?

edit- that's also how the world of business works...some don't survive others strive....

I was going to buy a EVGA GTX 260, I though I'd help the cause, and I bought a XFX one. Just now.

It's all the luck of the draw I think!
I can't speak to the current EVGA issues- as I haven't ever needed to RMA any of their gear (knocks on wood)

However, I do notice many people saying XFX forthewin!!!
Unfortunately, I have had nothing but horrible, abysmal, & terrible RMA/ CS experiences with them!
(Much worse than what I read about in GH0's EVGA thread)

and there are many many threads right here on OCN detailing the nightmares of their customer-service dept's shoddy attitude!)
So don't everybody go saying "Yay XFX" untill you've had to deal with them yourselves- Then again- maybe my bad experiences with XFX were "just luck of the draw"

The only companies I have been very pleasantly surprised by are ones that some wouldn't touch; namely BFG, OCZ, G.Skill, and ULTRA!

and -again -to reiterate what I posted in GH0's thread!

His issue isn't even resolved yet-
Isn't it just a little premature to be getting out the pitchforks! and calling for a Hangin'
(again My )

There isn't any problem with EVGA. Nothing is 100% perfect, and until you are able to prove that they have the worst support out of all the other competing companies, this is just a witch hunt.

Just remember this one thing for every bad story told probably 10 people will start talking bad about that company, for every good story maybe 1 or 2 people will talk good about that company. Things can get blown WAY out of proportion when you don't get the entire story.
