I had a problem with my 750i FTW when I first got it, But they very quickyl resolved it, and it was someone who REALLY knew what they were doing, not some Indian reading from his screen.

I will not boycott them on this ground,
I had a build gone wrong where I used an OEM 9600GSO, The system failed pretty much. So I decided to return some of the parts. I cannot stand lying so much so I told the rep what happened and why I wanted to return it. I was a bit nervous because after what I told him he had all rights to say No we will not return it. But you know what he said? I understand what happened and we will be happy to return it ON OUR CHARGE. You say all you want about EVGA, but that rep made EVGA one of the best companies I have ever seen for customer support.

2 rma's, 2 horrible experiences.
#1 7800GS with the cold bug, No problem EVGA agreed to cross ship a replacement no charge, I loves EVGA. Now you know that you have to give EVGA your CC info on a cross ship in case of whatever? So I receive my replacement card in 3 days, I loves EVGA. Test it, A ok, I loves EVGA. Send the bad card back, see by tracking that EVGA received it, so the story should end here...not. Month later I get my CC statement, guess what...yeah that's right a $249 charge from EVGA. For what you ask...I mistakenly sent the bad card in the replacement cards box.. so the S/N didn't match. So instead of calling/emailing me they went right on and took my money. I did eventually get my refund, so I brushed it off. I bought a couple more EVGA cards, never an issue with them. #2 Step up a GTX260 for $17, after 3 days of them having my card with no update I started emailing/calling them. There are issues is what I was told, ok what issues, never ever got an answer. Couple more days go by, finally get the RMA manager on the phone. I was pretty short tempered after nearly 2 weeks without an explanation. He was rude/condescending, I was rude right back...where's my card. Sorry there were issues, we'll send your card overnight, guess what...they sent the wrong card. My patience is gone so I ask for my original card back, they can't find it, this was a good card, 730/1566/2200 overclocks. Somewhere along the line the manager actually said "I don't know what to tell you" That's when I snapped. He says we'll send you a BNIB SC version, cool. Guess what, wrong card again. Anyway I ended up getting the correct card, not BNIB as it arrived in a plain white box with a clamshell with no accessories. A month of the runaround with nary an explanation. So they'll not get a 3rd chance.

EVGA just RMAed my card a month ago or so and they weren't even obligated to do so. On the phone they were extremely nice and professional. No I haven't had any problems with them but I'm not so short sighted that I can't see that others have. Sorry to hear about it and hope you guys get it worked out asap.

true, Ive heard lots of bad stories about XFX and ASUS especially, so I dont know why people are targeting EVGA. I didnt get an asus mobo because I ehard from numerous people that they had horrible RMA and Customer Support. A close friend of mine tried to get XFX to RMA his 8800gt for 5 weeks until they finally approved it after he had called numerous times.

Just remember this one thing. For every bad story told probably 10 people will start talking bad about that company, for every good story maybe 1 or 2 people will talk good about that company. Things can get blown WAY out of proportion when you don't get the entire story.

I think the wrong approach is being taken here. If you have feedback for EVGA, give it to them, preferably in numbers.
