Yeah I used 4x AA.
I haven't played since my ATI days, X2 and I don't remember CS being this hitchy.
Have you tried the SLI enhancement patch?

I appreciate it.

Will do Grun ... CS does run better on the high-end 1GB Radeons, as I'm sure you know, and the way it looks to me, you get the settings high enough (like what we're talking here) I believe you start using over 896mb of vram ... I can't think of any other reason for the mins to be so low ... too bad (it appears) one can't monitor vram usage in vista/se7en...

Does yours bog down when entering the CS camp the same way as mine does on tests 1-3 at these settings?

I'm thinking it's the massive load of foliage in the camp there, combined with the a-tested AA being on (isn't that like supersampling?) is just slamming the vram capacity.

For me, the dip there isn't nearly as bad without the A-tested AA being on...so strange that it doesn't behave the same way in test 4 though ...

Here ya go Grun ... 1600x1200, 4xAA a-tested, maxed out ... sig clocks on one gtx295 in win7 64 w/186.16.

Max gpu temps on the run was 73/76 on the co-op, if you're interested...

Thanks, looks like my scores are about right.
Difference in min fps, W7 maybe?
I'll try an overclocked run in a minute, monitor temps also.

a) the rails are setup properly for it, w/one for each of the four pci-ex cables (w/six total)
b) it's Enhance-built, and they make some pretty nice psu's (silverstone is another brand that uses them)
c) everyone thinks you need moar psu than you really do around these parts ...

I'm only gonna run this setup for at most 29 days, so, as long as it works for what I've got going here for that long, I'm not too worried about 'cutting it close'. If this psu 'died from exposure' here I wouldn't be heart-broken anyways ... I got it for like $100 on clearance, the fan is a little noisy and it's not modular ... I'd kinda like a good excuse to buy an Enermax Revolution

Grunion:

Wow, that is a fantastic overclock on a 295 ... yours is the sandwich? I can't even get near that high except on memory ... you got an overvolt running on that bad-boy or something?
