Probably not. Wires have been resting on mine for months and it's been fine. Not 100% sure though, move it if you want, only takes a few seconds.

You have a wire resting on the top of the card? If so then that's fine. I had a 120mm fan resting on top of one of my GTX's and it's fine. aslong as the cable is coated in something

As for temps they look fine. That's pretty good for the graphics card. 72c is great. Mine jump up as high as 90c sometimes, Although very rarely. (bloody summer)
