it depends somewhat on where you are in the game. if you go into that really huge underground area where you're jumping around on the sewer pipes (you're on the way to meet some dude, I forget what the level is called exactly) that's the most taxing level I've run across in the game so far ...

The level I'm talking about is the one where you go down into this huge pipe in the ground, and then up through a similar huge pipes (then you get mobbed). In between these pipes is a HUGE room ... that's the one I mean...

if you can hold up 60fps in that area, you're doing REALLY good with fps... cause I was dipping under 60 w/similar settings even on my rig ...

I found a great place to test your graphics performance in M.E.

This is the first spot I came across in a long time in the game where my fps dipped below 58 ... It's at the very beginning of the level 'Pirandello-Kruger', you just go over to the window and look out, and check your fps.

As you can see from the screenie, there's a ton of vram usage going on, with HDR, lot's of phys-x, lot of shadows, and nice long view distance with good LOD pretty far out ... this scene is pretty taxing.

But look at the temps this Co-Op 295 is pulling down ... 60's, baby! My sandwich would in the 80's on this scene, I'm certain of it.

But I digress ...

I'm running this at 1920x1200, all maxed, with 8xQAA. I average between 43 and 52fps looking out this window ...
