Default FPS question

hi guys. i just tried fraps.. and i tried it on mirrors edge. everything highest with 4XAA and resolution is 1920X 1080..

i had it run at 62 FPS constant.. is that considered good/moderate/bad relative to my specs not to monster pcs

Good. Without fraps it will run a lot better. Fraps is known to give people a LOT less FPS when gaming.

If you try running it without fraps running then you will see the real FPS you should normally get. For your system with those settings 62FPS isn't terrible anyway. Mine would die running it like that!

Laughed pretty hard at Harriers comment. Fraps unless recording, only displays frame rate. It wont affect your performance.

He wasn't recording? Oops, I assumed he was since that's what people mainly use fraps for

62 constant probably means there is an FPS cap. Google it and see how to remove it.

No, lol... That only happens when you use it to record a movie. When it just displays the FPS, there is no performance hit.

And you have a solid 62fps because that is what the game is capped at. It is possible to remove the cap, though IDK how in Mirrors Edge.
