Gtx 260 temperature check!

New to Overclock.net
|
my gtx 260 core 216 idle at 46 C but when I run furmark stress test temperature goes up to 73 C is this normal?

yep thats standard fair, customize your fan speed to see better temps. Do that with EVGA precision or rivatuner

yep that's normal. you can go 60-70% fan speed. you will notice at least 5'c difference

idle at 37 on a summers night, load i've seen as high as 90 in extreme furmark. In game temps barely exceed 65 with fans set to 75% (turned up for summer)

Yep that's normal. Temps can go into the 80s if you have a really high overclock.

55 nm i heard you dont want to let sit higher than 80 C nothing like the old card which could do 100C lol. dont know if this is true but its what i follow!
