Default GTX 300 specs predicted.

Here are speculated specifications. I take no credit for any of it.

Kudos to you wikipedia.

Anybody can edit Wikipedia. I could go and edit it right now and make up any kind of false specs that I want.

These really aren't predictions, it's just someone posting unverified information.

If this is true, I am kinda dissapointed. I expexted the 300 series to be a lot better than tha ATI 5000 series.

nVidia has shown time and time again they do much more than ATi with less stream processors and lower clock speeds. There is nothing to say about their new cards until we get some numbers. I remember seeing something like 400 steam processors on an ATi card and thought I was ripped off with my 128 on my 8800 GTX yet my 8800 GTX stomped it in performance (8800 GTX vs 3870 I think).

Wait until we get numbers as we all know ATi is great price for performance and nVidia is performance king.

Well I dunno. If they get Fermi out the door anytime soon, which I doubt it, it should kick ass.
ATI Pretty much doubled everything for the HD58XX series. Nvidia seems to be doing the same for GT300.
I would normally say that the HD5870 to the GT300 will probably be like the HD4870 vs the GTX285.
However rumour has it that it is in fact this generation in which Nvidia will have a faster clock than ATI-1.5GHZ has been mentioned,
http://news.cnet.com/8301-13512_3-10...=2547-1_3-0-20
so it really could be extremely powerfull, could surprise a lot of people.

That is great, but I would like to see the cards before April/May next year lol. So much for before xmas!
