We both use "Let 3D Application Decide" in NVIDIA Control Panel. We used the default benchmark that works with Crysis. Crysis Benchmark Tool.

So the scores that you guys are posting, are just the average score from the benchmark? I have that benchmark. I'll give it a try. But I would like to know what the minimum/max and average fps are. But test at 1600x1200, also you guys are just using the default driver settings? nothing changed? have you guys enabled Anisotropic filtering? This is what my drivers settings look like. I tried to adjust them for quality. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Just so you know, Saulin ...
Crysis doesn't support AF on Very High (it uses parallax mapping instead) so turning it on in the NCP is not a good idea when running VH. Also, if you turn on Supersampling AA, it works even when AA is set to 'application controlled', and it can be a MAJOR perf killer. I don't believe it does anything in Crysis because Crysis has it's own AA and what you set in the CP doesn't really affect it. But in other games ... it can really crush the FPS. Anyways, so when testing Crysis, you should also turn off the TRAA.

Oh like I said. I changed the settings for best quality. So when I game does use AA, I want it to use Supersampling. I can only game at 1600x1200 max so most liekly I will be using FSAA whenever I can ![]() Interesting I didn't know that about Crysis and AF. It seems to have some performance hit. I guess I'll have to check in game to see what the visual difference is with it on and with it in application controlled. Anyways with the settings posted this is what I got when benching Crysis. These are my clocks on my card right now. GTX 285 OCX @ 710 core/1360 memory/1584 shaders http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/zqxb6/ It just won't overclock much at all because it comes already overclocked but I ran FurMark for about 30 mins and I did not see any artifacts or anything so I'm calling it good for now ![]() Also these latest beta drivers 190.56 seem to be the most stable for me right now. ATI tool did not detect any artifacts either but I don't trust it much. It does not get the video card as hot as FurMark at all. Crysis @ 1600x1200, everything in very high, DX10, 64-bit, No AF, No AA ![]() Crysis @ 1600x1200, everything in very high, DX10, 64-bit, No AF, 4X AA ![]() Crysis @ 1600x1200, everything in very high, DX10, 64-bit, 16X AF, No AA ![]() Crysis @ 1600x1200, everything in very high, DX10, 64-bit, 16X AF, 4X AA ![]() To the original poster. Unless you are posting the minimum FPS for the crysis benchmark. I think there is something wrong.
