It all started one morning when I woke up, turned my monitor on (computer was on all night) and all I saw was a static blue screen with a bunch of artifacts. I restarted the computer, and I got nothing on the monitor at all. I disconnected all of the power to PC, turned it back on, and was able to boot in safe mode. In safe mode I had no problems so I figured it was a driver issue. I uninstalled the display driver, but could not run driver cleaner pro in safe mode (it will run the program, but no drivers could be added to be removed). I ended up downloading new drivers from XFX, installed them fine, rebooted the PC, and it loaded all the way to the desktop, flashed the desktop and then the screen went black and all I could see was the mouse. It still works in safe mode, that's how I'm posting this thread. Is my graphics card shot? What can I do to fix this?

I'd say back up any important files in safe mode, then reformat.
