Well it seems like the most simple solutions are the best. I got a feeling that maybe one of my PCI-E connectors was bad, so I opened up my case again to check it out and use a different one and realized..... The 2nd gfx card wasn't powered.... AT all...
__________________Needless to say I plugged in the two pci-e connectors and all is well in the world again. Thanks alot for your help guys, I really appreciate it.

You shouldn't need to change the way SLI because nvidia should have it set to the most optimal method of redering for each specific game. You should only change it when you do not have good scaling in a specific game.

Glad you got it figured out.
And, are you serious, for an SLI issue you are suggesting he reinstall the entire OS???

Some times it's the only way, especially if you are going from ATI/Crossfire to Nvidia/SLI.

However, the OP said he added a 2nd card, not once did he mention Xfire, so I don't how a reinstall was in any way a good suggestion in this case. It seems that some people on here will say to do a full reinstall of the OS no matter what the problem. It is especially a bad suggestion when you get new members asking for help and someone spouts out "Reinstall" as the best option to fix the issue.
