hey guys just got a palit 8800GT from a friend for free. what are they like? how do they overclock?

Palit Sonic? Or the plain-jane 8800GT? The Sonic clocks really well from what I have read. In general though, almost all 8800GT cards clock pretty well.

whats the difference? its 512mb DDR3 and it has a gold HSF thingy?

think its just a 8800GT theres no sonic on the lable or product code

I would say ~850MHz-ish

--wait, did you have another thread on the same topic ?

Even still; what kind of selling point for that 8800GT would you say for it? I ask because I'm trying to collect mid-range older cards for a folding farm.
