New to Overclock.net
|
Computer Specs :
Motherboard : Intel Extreme DP45SG Ram : Corsair 2GB 1633mhz Graphics : Nvidia geforce 9800 GT series Power Supply: Asus 750W / 650W U-75HA U-65GA Power supply CPU : Intel Pentium (R) VT dual core 2.60 GHz Case : NZXT tempest Sigh..... i was planning on building a new computer and wen i booted it from the back the graphics card didn't turn on!!! ![]() my mobo doesnt have onboard graphics on the mobo so i wasnt able to look onto my monitor ![]() like cmon i should have enough power going through my computer and another problem is i cant turn off my computer using the switch >_< some1 please help what myt b the solution to my problem |

So what happens when you turn it on, fans work, lights on, any beeps? Does it keep resetting itself? Do you have it in the case?

Can you turn ON your computer using the switch?
![]() Dunno about the 9800 GT. All I can think of is that your PCIe slot is shot, or the connector is busted. Tried a different one?

Then it'd say that the card has issues. If there's no beeps, then the card is probably dead. Wouldn't the board beep if the card wasn't getting enough power?

Have you plugged the 6 pin pci-e power cord in? Have you tried reseating the card?

Make sure you have the molex powerconnector plugged into the motherboard also above the pci-e slots.If you checked all this I would probably say Dead card.
