So what happens when you turn it on, fans work, lights on, any beeps? Does it keep resetting itself? Do you have it in the case?

Can you turn ON your computer using the switch?

Dunno about the 9800 GT. All I can think of is that your PCIe slot is shot, or the connector is busted. Tried a different one?

Then it'd say that the card has issues. If there's no beeps, then the card is probably dead. Wouldn't the board beep if the card wasn't getting enough power?

Have you plugged the 6 pin pci-e power cord in? Have you tried reseating the card?

Yea probably. There should be at least some power going through it at least through the pci-e connection, 75w I think.

Make sure you have the molex powerconnector plugged into the motherboard also above the pci-e slots. If you checked all this I would probably say Dead card.
