I am at work now,but his card started to artifact about 3 month's ago or so.He could barely see the screen. He couldn't fix it so he got him a 260 and then used it as a paperweight because it is out of warranty. So I thought I would give it a try.Going out to Micro Center at lunch to pick me up an open box of Artic Silver 5 for $2.96 to put it back together tonight.

Hey Capwn I am in KC too.

Dam it really does work.I didn't use artic silver 5 but I did use some of my ocz freeze. What temp's do these usually run at idle and load?I never really paid attention on my EVGA since it's super clocked from the factory and has lifetime warranty.I am at 53 at idle.I am getting ready to bust some COD5 and see how hot it get's.Dam I still can't believe it.If anyone want's to try like I said before 12 minute's at 285 with oven preheated to that.

Aw man the card is messing up again can barley see windows.I am gonna have to get a new card.Look's like a 5870 probably XFX or Asus, they are out of stock tho, that suck's no desktop until I can order one.It has to be Newegg to.I spent the money I had saved for it cause I thought the card I baked would last until Nvidia's new card's come out.Now no money until tax time, end of Feb.Doesn't Newegg have 0% for 12 month's credit line?
