Hmm I only got a year warranty on my registered xfx 8600gt, shame about double lifetime only for US and Canadian peeps.

If it isn't possible to go through the retailer then I'm sure they would allow you to send it to them. They might require a receipt of the transaction though.

I did see another post that if the retailer isnt about anymore XFX will deal with it if you explain the situation, but I cant find it

I was actually just hoping to get my card back but with a better fan on it, alas this works too and either way im still happy cause this new card uses less power than the 9800GTX+ I had. one 6 pin as opposed to two and its a shorter pcb so i have more room in my case, although not much, lol.

this is the same exact as my 9800GTX+ except the shorter pcb and less power, and both cards were 55nm so that didnt change...same exact specs in terms of performance too.
