I doesn't mean anything until it's moving w/ reasonable frame rates. There's thousands of artists around the world that can make images like these, and do it on 5-8 year old hardware. Difference being it would take hours or days to render. Hence the reason that, in terms of gpu performance........a still means absolutely nothing.

If you're referring to the 'dx10' image I think you are, then it's kinda funny. Because that image had nothing what so ever to do w/ dx10 architecture (rendering of the joker). Wether dx10 was good or bad wasn't in any way related to it, given that it was created in zbrush and rendered out in max. Not via. .fx shaders or through a dx10 engine. It's all just marketing hocus pocus.

Wasn't aiming anything in particular at anyone in particular. But deny me nvidia and ati fanboys alike have this retarded mentality. It's really annoying. Nvidia leaks or publishes these pictures and most of the negative responses are from people with ATI cards. It's vise versa when ATI release something.

It's incredibly frustrating.
